My Great grandmother would say, “If Joan of Arc, at age 17 can lead an army of men into war, because God advises her, THEN YOU CAN GET OUT OF BED!” That saying has helped me in some of the hardest times of my life! What is your reason to get out of bed on this new day?
On this Thanksgiving of 2012 I am so thankful for many things, but first for being so blessed with having AMAZING female role models as I was growing up. My Great grandmother was such a character, so smart, world traveler and as I remember…she always had a smile on her face. She was constant, stubborn, giving and still inspires me today!
Who did this for you in your life? If they are still living, make sure you make a special effort to let them know what a blessing they are in your life!
My Grandma also inspired me, she worked very hard at everything she did!
I hope my future Grand children will think of me this way!
